Voice a Concern
The INTOSAI Development Initiative (IDI) is established as a foundation (Stiftelse) under Norwegian law. IDI operates globally, engaging with a broad range of stakeholders and beneficiaries. These include, among others, Supreme Audit Institutions (SAIs) of individual countries, bodies of the International Organisation of Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI), United Nations entities, as well as International Non-Governmental Organisations (INGOs) and Civil Society Organisations (CSOs). IDI is committed to exemplifying accountable, ethical, and transparent governance in all aspects of its work.
IDI Code of Ethics
IDI staff, IDI Board members and all partners working on behalf of IDI are governed by the IDI Code of Ethics. The Code offers a set of values to guide behaviours and decision making. It is centred around seven ethical values:

- Credibility and Accountability
- Impartiality and Objectivity
- Confidentiality
- Transparency
- Respect, Behaviour Towards Others, Diversity and Equal Opportunities
- Competence
IDI Complaints Framework
The Code is supported by a robust IDI Complains Framewrok. The Framework provides the rules, regulations and procedures for internal and external complaints.
IDI Anti-Corruption Policy
IDI has zero tolerance towards corruption. The IDI Anti-Corruption Policy provides the guidelines ensure that IDI, its staff and all who work on behalf of the organization are adhering to the highest standards of integrity and accountability. This Policy is linked to the Code and Framework and complaints are to be made in accordance with the provisions of the Framework.
IDI Safeguarding Policy
IDI does not engage in front line services which includes working with children, young people and vulnerable adults. However, IDI staff and others who work with IDI spend significant time in developing countries, living and working in local communities where children, young people and vulnerable adults are present. In addition, sexual exploitation, abuse, harassment and bullying are all issues which could occur within any organisation. The IDI Safeguarding Policy is intended to help IDI adopt a more comprehensive safeguarding practice and culture. IDI has a zero-tolerance policy towards sexual exploitation, abuse, harassment and bullying.
Reporting your concerns
Any breaches of the Code should be reported as per the provisions of Section 4.3 of the Code. Any breaches of any of the other policies above, may be reported as per the provisions of the Framework.
Besides the internal channels of reporting within IDI, as specified in the code, suspected breaches for all IDI staff may be reported directly to Director General IDI. Cases of suspected breaches involving the Director General or IDI Board members may be reported to the Chair of the IDI Board.
