As an integral part of the INTOSAI community, IDI has a unique mandate to serve the needs of all developing country Supreme Audit Institutions (SAIs) separate from any country’s specific geographic or political interests. Our long experience with INTOSAI in providing capacity development sets us apart from other supporting organisations.

At IDI, we are guided by our core values: professional, innovative, collaborative, and with heart, where we deliver gender-responsive and inclusive support and peer-to-peer cooperation in capacity development. Through our focused work streams – Bilateral Support, Independent SAIs, Professional and Relevant SAIs, and Well-Governed SAIs – we deliver tailored support for SAIs.

Our diverse and international team has the expertise and network of peers and stakeholders to ensure that SAIs have access to the tools and resources they need to deliver impactful results that contribute to improved public oversight, accountability, and enhanced transparency with public funds.
