Developed in consultation with SAIs, external stakeholders, and leading experts in public auditing, the IDI Strategic Plan 2024-2029 sets out our vision to support SAIs in developing countries to sustainably enhancing their performance and capacities.

Operational Plan
Our Operational Plan is the driving force as we implement the IDI Strategic Plan 2024-2029. Through careful consultation and analysis, each of our work streams – Independent, Well-Governed, Professional and Relevant SAIs, and Bilateral Support – work to deliver on strategic priorities of sustainability, digitalisation, and public trust in SAIs.
The Operational Plan provides an annual overview of how IDI will meet its strategic priorities.

Global SAI Stocktaking Report
The main data source for the report is responses from 166 SAIs collected through the INTOSAI Global SAI Survey. The analysis has been enriched by SAI PMF and PEFA data, together with selected democracy indicators from the v-dem.
The Global Survey and the Global SAI Stocktaking was developed by IDI. IDI is grateful for the support and contribution from INTOSAI regions and the INTOSAI Global Survey Committee.
