Through the LOTA initiative, IDI is working with stakeholders to explores ways of integrating AI tools and techniques into public sector audits and auditing AI. AI can help auditors analyse large datasets, identify anomalies, and generate insights more efficiently. By adopting AI, SAIs can enhance audit quality, detect risks earlier, and provide more timely recommendations. The IDI’s resources and training equip auditors with the skills needed to navigate the complexities of AI, ensuring audits remain robust and relevant in a digital world.
