Brynjar Wiersholm is a Deputy Director General of the INTOSAI Development Initiative (IDI). He is a part of the leadership at the IDI Secretariat and heads the Corporate Support department. His department supports the organization in areas including finance, governance, human resources and technology.

Mr. Wiersholm has a Master’s in Business from the BI Norwegian Business School and a Master’s in Global Management from Thunderbird, USA.

Prior to joining the IDI in 2020, Mr. Wiersholm was the Finance and HR director for EITI in Oslo for five years. Before that, Mr. Wiersholm worked for 20 years heading support functions for companies in the private sector, including Brady Energy, Enron Nordic Energy and Unitor ASA.
