Each SAI can nominate up to four SAI auditors. We recommend that SAIs nominate at least one candidate for specialisation in Quality Risk Management and up to three candidates for Monitoring & Remediation, covering financial audit, performance audit, and compliance audit. SAIs should ensure gender representation in their nominations (e.g. if there are four nominations, at least two should be female), fostering an inclusive environment that reflects the diversity and strengths of our community. Gender balance is part of the criteria in accepting the nominations from the SAI.
The nomination should be submitted by the SAI using the nomination link. SAI nomination needs to be supported by the following:
1. Approval and commitment from the Head of SAI, using the provided commitment and nomination template. This reflects the SAI’s commitment to support the nominated SAI auditors throughout their certification journey, providing for them sitting the exams and making them available for the shared pool.
2. Curriculum vitae of each nominated individual.
