About AFROSAI-E
AFROSAI-E brings together SAIs from across Sub-Saharan Africa. With a shared commitment to improving governance, accountability, and transparency, AFROSAI-E provides a platform for collaboration, innovation, and peer learning. Its members face a variety of challenges—from limited resources to evolving mandates—but are united by a mission to strengthen public sector auditing and national development.

- Locally Owned – developed jointly with AFROSAI-E Secretariat and member SAIs.

Working with the AFROSAI-E Secretariat
IDI maintains active collaboration with the AFROSAI-E Secretariat, hosted by the Office of the Auditor General of South Africa. This partnership includes:
- Joint design and delivery of capacity development initiatives
- Participation in AFROSAI-E Governing Board and Technical Committees
- Co-development of regional research, tools, and guidance
- Support to individual SAIs through tailored initiatives
