The IDI Board consists of 10 members, primarily Heads of Supreme Audit Institutions and Members of Boards of Auditors General. It is a non-executive Board responsible for the management of the foundation and setting the strategic direction of the IDI.

Board members serve a three-year term, with the possibility of one renewal.

One position on the IDI Board will become vacant as of October 14, 2025, and IDI is now inviting Expressions of Interest from qualified individuals to be considered for appointment.

The application deadline is until 31 July 2025.
