A growing community of learning specialists who are committed to lifelong learning

For many years, IDI has created pools of resource people and alumni of capacity development programmes. IDI continuously finds solutions to nurture these networks and provide continuous professional development (CPD) using virtual tools. 

Among the solutions include the ‘Learning Festival’ which was introduced where speakers from the relevant field  were invited to run workshops on innovation, and education. In 2022, we responded to the lessons learned by working with resource pools to identify how we build professions, what type of network we should create and what type of CPD people need.  

In November 2022, a meeting of founders from the Learning Specialists’ community was held to conceptualize and develop plans to create the international alumni network – “SAI Learning Professionals’ Circle” which include Training Specialists, eLearning Specialists and Blended Learning Specialists from all the INTOSAI Regions . The circle hopes to bring people together where alumni can collaborate and provide opportunities for CPD. 

IDI is delighted to announce the official launch of the SAI Learning Professionals Circle  on 2nd November 2023 at 8:00-9:00 AM Oslo Time and at 3:00-4:00 PM Oslo time.
