The International Journal of Government Auditing has featured a milestone achievement for the Professional Education for SAI Auditors (PESA) qualification, which received formal recognition from INTOSAI at XXV INCOSAI. The article highlights INTOSAI’s endorsement of PESA as a valuable professional qualification for public sector auditors, the launch of INTOSAI co-branding, and the introduction of the Arabic version of the initiative. It also showcases the growing global impact of PESA, which has supported more than 2,800 auditors from 128 SAIs in strengthening professional competencies and advancing the professionalisation of public sector auditing worldwide.
