Meet the IDI Board
IDI's Board is composed of ten members from different supreme audit institutions. Get to know them better in our "Meet the Board" series.
ISSAI Implementation Initiative (3i Programme) Phase II meeting was held in Bhutan from 23-27 November 2015. The meeting aimed to define a results framework for 3i Phase II, get expert feedback on the draft INTOSAI competency framework, agree on the structure of the basic guidance for intial considerations in implementing ISSAIs and also agree on the updation of the 3i products.
On 11 September 2015, the IDI carried out an online test for selecting the 96 participants for the 3i Programme in CREFIAF. A total of 21 SAIs of the region and 183 Magistrates and Auditors were connected on the IDI Learning Management System at the same time to complete the test (from 12:00 to 13:00 hours Oslo time).
CREFIAF 3i workshop on ISSAI Implementation - Performance Audit, was held in Cameroon from 02- 20 November 2015. 31 selected participants from sixteen SAIs of CREFIAF region participated in the meeting who have been selected through an online test.
IDI- CREFIAF 3i Management Workshop held in Cameroon from 9 to 11 December 2014. In the workshop SAIs discussed a range of ISSAI implementation topics, products and ideas regarding implementation of ISSAIs.
3i Programme OLACEFS iCAT Review Workshop was held in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic from December 7 to 11, 2015. 28 participants from 11 SAIs attended the workshop.
As part of the IDI-PASAI ISSAI based Cooperative audit programme on audit of procurement the Workshop on Audit of procurement was held in Auckland, New Zealand from 9 to 20 November 2015. 26 participants from 11 SAIs participated at the workshop.
iCAT review workshops for financial, performance and compliance audits were held in Kuwait from 16-21 November 2015. The objective of the iCAT review workshops was to provide expert and peer feedback on the iCATs conducted.
The 6 week long eLearning course on Performance Audit of Poverty Alleviation was delivered from October 28 - December 15, 2015. 29 participants from 10 SAIs of the OLACEFS region participated in the course. After completion of the ecourse, they will take up the cooperative audit in their respective SAIs.
One of the first support activities in the IDI-ASOSAI 3i Cooperative Audit Programme on Audit of Disaster Management was a firve week elearning course from 5 October to 6 November 2015. 54 participants from 18 SAIs participated in the eLearning course.
During the week of 12 to 16 October 2015 the IDI engaged with SAI Bosnia and Herzegovina to provide SAI level support to review the iCATs on performance, compliance and financial audits.
As a part of the 3i programme in OLACEFS the IDI and OLACEFS are facilitating a Cooperative Performance Audit of Poverty Alleviation Programme for 10 SAIs. In the programme IDI‚s new cooperative audit model will be followed as well as the audit will also help test concepts of risk and assurance in a performance audit.
The IDI launched a cooperative audit programme for SAIs of PASAI region to enhancing their capacity in conducting ISSAI based compliance audit of procurement issues. The programme includes a face to face workshop on audit of procurement and then online plan development and a review meeting.
