This meeting was a follow-up to the SAI leadership and Stakeholder meeting held 7-9 February where 16 SAIs committed to participate in the cooperative audit and to the Mentor Training and Product Adaptation meeting held 13-29 March. It was attended by 55 participants from 16 SAIs, as well as 8 mentors and experts from IDI and the CREFIAF Region.
The meeting‘s objective was to train the audit teams of the participating SAIs on the subject matter (2030 Agenda and performance audit of preparedness) and to assist them in developing the audit design matrix for the audit. As a result, 16 audit design matrix were developed, and mentors and audit teams agreed on the next steps to ensure the success of the cooperative audit.
The next activity for this year is the review meeting in November, where audit teams will present and improve the first draft of their audit reports on preparedness to implement the SDGs.
