The IDI, in collaboration with the OLACEFS Secretariat, SAI Peru and CEDEIR conducted a SAI PMF Basic Training course in Lima, Peru from the 18th to 21st of September 2018. There were 25 participants drawn from countries within the OLACEFS region taking this SIA PMF Basic training course. In addition, 30 officers from SAI Peru participated in the course via a live telecast of the training sessions. The Supreme Audit Institutions Performance Measurement Framework (SAI PMF) is a universally applicable tool for examining the institutional, organisational and professional capacity of SAIs in a holistic and evidence based manner. The basic training course provides solid foundations for understanding the framework and the methodology applied in practice. The SAI PMF supports the SAIs in their endeavour to reach the objectives of ISSAI 12; the Value and Benefits of SAIs – Making a difference to the lives of citizens.
