Meet the IDI Board
IDI's Board is composed of ten members from different supreme audit institutions. Get to know them better in our "Meet the Board" series.
IDI’s Board approved the Operational Plan and budget for 2022 in its virtual meeting on 25 November 2021.
Moving into 2022, IDI seeks to further strengthen efforts at building up resilience, flexibility, foresight and demand-driven provision of support to SAIs. The ongoing pandemic makes such efforts more necessary than ever.
IDI’s portfolio for 2022 will support Supreme Audit Institutions in leveraging technology, helping governments in their pursuit of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), facilitating audit impact, and in crisis and risk management to rejuvenate governance towards a bright post pandemic future. Support for SAIs at strengthening their independence, mandates and audit processes will continue.
IDI will continue to apply a gender and inclusiveness lens in its engagement. To start IDI’s positive action days during the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence, IDI officially launched its new Gender Video “Gender Counts – So how can Supreme Audit Institutions contribute to accounting for gender equality”.
The IDI Board also approved a revised Procurement Policy and Internal Control System and discussed a new round of support for highly challenged Supreme Audit Institutions.
A Board meeting summary, the Operational Plan and budget for 2022, and the new Procurement Policy will be published on the IDI website.
