The Design Meeting for SAI Young Leaders Programme was held on 15-23 September 2016. The meeting was attended by (from the left) Tassilo von Droste (GIZ), Lei Anne Cabuyadao (SAI Philippines-Commission on Audit), Sinaroseta Paamo-Iosefo (PASAI Secretariat), Archana Shirsat (IDI-Head of Capacity Development), Ingela Ekblom (Swedish National Audit Office), Henry McGregor (IDI-Capacity Development Manager) and Fatima Doghman (IDI-Project Coordinator).
The team embarked on and continued what had been initially discussed during the Global Leadership Symposium held in Shimla, India in November 2015. The key outputs of the meeting are the competency framework based on the leadership tree initially developed during said symposium , the broad design of the programme including some guidelines on the selection process and topics to consider in the programme syllabus.
