IDI's Senior Manager for Human Resources, Tonje Fremstad Waldron, has been even busier than usual in recent months. Not only has she been overseeing IDI's significant recruitment drives, taking on new staff and resource people in IDI's Oslo head office and in positions around the world, she has also worked closely with colleagues and consultants on Human Resource surveys, IDI's cross-cutting priority of Gender and Inclusiveness and support for IDI's SAI HR initiatives.
In addition to managing all the HRM functions in IDI, Tonje has also just launched a new IDI people video, where IDI staff share what they love about working with IDI. People from all parts of the organisation recount how rewarding it is to work on important global iniatives that postivively impact the world's citizens, while enjoying the cameradie of their colleagues, both in Oslo and further afield.
'Putting the video together was great fun,' says the HR Senior Manager. 'Of course, we are only able to give a small taste of IDI working life in one short video, but we hope it reflects the pride and enjoyment that comes with working with great people, in a genuinely for-purpose organisation.'
In fact, the HR department has become so busy that IDI is now looking to hire a Human Resource Coordinator. Working with Tonje on a range of organisation-wide HR initiatives and activities, the HR Coordinator will play an active role in processes and administration of all employment actions including recruitment, hiring, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, talent management, HR development, capacity building activities, off boarding, global mobility and more.
