The Albanian Supreme State Audit Institution (ALSAI) will soon be conducting a series of audits examining concession contracts and public private partnerships in Albania. These audits will be preformed as part of a project funded by the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO).
The object of the procurement procedure is to improve ALSAI's capacity to conduct more professional and comprehensive audits in line with international audit standards and good professional practices for public sector. The aim of the project itself is to foster public supervision, increase the quality, transparency and curb corruption including contract drafting and implementation related to concessions and public-private partnership (PPPs) which are anticipated to have state budget support.
ALSAI shall contract 4 experts to conduct the project, in the following areas of expertise:
- International Expert in in audit of Infrastructure and IT sector (Customs Trucks Scanning) PPP-s
- International Expert in audit of Health & IT sector (Customs Trucks Scanning) PPP-s
- Local Expert in audit of Infrastructure and IT sector (Customs Trucks Scanning) PPP-s
- Local Expert in audit of Health & IT sector (Customs Trucks Scanning) PPP-s
