On May 18 2021, the Latin American and Caribbean Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (OLACEFS) held its LXXII Governing Board meeting (virtual mode).
The Governing Board is made up of the OLACEFS Presidency, in charge of the SAI of Peru; the Executive Secretariat, carried out by the SAI of Chile, and the SAIs that fulfill the role of advisers: Uruguay, Brazil, Paraguay, Guatemala and Colombia. The SAIs that hold the presidency of committees, commissions and working groups were also invited, as well as representatives of the German Cooperation Agency (GIZ), the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and the INTOSAI Development Initiative (IDI).
In the case of the IDI, in addition to the description of the progress of the initiatives that are being developed in the region and how we are working with the SAIs towards the new normal, we have focused on initiatives in development related to flexibility, agility and resilience. Reference has also been made to the region's contribution to the INTOSAI Global Survey and the forthcoming Global SAI Stocktaking Report.
Participación de la IDI en la LXXII Reunión del Consejo Directivo de OLACEFS
El 18 de mayo se llevó a cabo la LXXII Reunión del Consejo Directivo de la Organización Latinoamericana y del Caribe de Entidades Fiscalizadoras Superiores (OLACEFS), en modalidad virtual.
El Consejo Directivo de la Organización está compuesto por la Presidencia de la OLACEFS, a cargo de la EFS de Perú, la Secretaría Ejecutiva, desempeñada por la EFS de Chile, así como las EFS que cumplen el rol de consejeras: Uruguay, Brasil, Paraguay, Guatemala y Colombia. También fueron invitadas las EFS que ocupan la presidencia de comités, comisiones y grupos de trabajo, como así también representantes de la Agencia de Cooperación Alemana (GIZ), el Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo (BID)y la Iniciativa de Desarrollo de INTOSAI (IDI).
En el caso de la IDI, adicionalmente a la descripción del avance de las iniciativas que se vienen desarrollando en la región y de cómo estamos trabajando con las EFS hacia la nueva normalidad, hemos hecho foco en iniciativas en desarrollo vinculadas con la flexibilidad, la agilidad y la resiliencia. También se ha hecho referencia al aporte de la región a la Encuesta Global de INTOSAI y al próximo Informe Global de Evaluación de EFS.
