The seminar was divided into sessions about themes connected to SDGs, as fighting against corruption; inclusiveness, democracy and citizenship participation; climate change; education indicators, among others.
In the context of SDGs, SAI Chile is coordinating a coordinated audit on preparedness for implementation of SDG 5, in cooperation with IDI as part of Auditing SDGs programme. The SAIS from Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Curacao, Ecuador, Guatemala, Mexico, Nicaragua, Paraguay, Peru, Spain and Uruguay and a subnational entity, from Bogotá, Colombia, are participating in the programme. The audit teams are finalizing the eLearning course at IDI platform and will start the audit plan. They were invited by SAI Chile to attend the seminar.
Simultaneously to the seminar, there were specific sessions on themes related to SDG 5. Ms. Maria Lucia Lima, IDI Manager Capacity Development, attended the seminar and was invited to discuss with the audit teams the key issues on performance audit on preparedness for implementation of SDGs, the audit methodology, doubts on the eLearning course and the next steps of the audit.
