Meet the IDI Board
IDI's Board is composed of ten members from different supreme audit institutions. Get to know them better in our "Meet the Board" series.
There are so many milestones that SAIs have scored or derived by investing time and resources in engaging stakeholders in its audit process so the degree of successes varies from SAI to SAI. Notwithstanding the benefits that SAIs derived from engaging with stakeholders, there also challenges that most SAIs face which hinders effective engagement with stakeholders.
These training sessions allow for SAI's to share their experiences and develop their plans for engaging with the prioritised stakeholders. The second training workshop for SAIs from PASAI and ASOSAI was held in Bangkok Thailand from 6- 17 August 2018.
The participants for this second training workshop were from Pakistan, Thailand, Solomon Island, Micronesia Federal State, Viet Nam and Mongolia whilst the resource team came from Philippines, Kenya, Curacao, Cambodia and Nepal. Including participants and resource persons across the INTOSAI Regions enriched the sharing of experiences. Further, the SAI teams were taken through a process of stakeholder mapping, prioritisation of key stakeholders and strategy development. The SAI teams will be expected to develop action plans that they intend to implement over a period in line with the SAIs strategic plans as well as priorities.
This workshop was part of the SAI Engaging with Stakeholders Programme. To learn more about this programme visit our programme page here. |
